SOHO—English shoe label Ruia, which sells footwear for over $400 a pop, will open on Mercer between Spring and Broome this fall, reports Crain's. It's taking over the space from Marianne Novobatzky, a designer who once dressed Oscar nominees. [Crain's; NYMag]
