Popular Coney Island shop Lola Star was cleaned out by robbers on Tuesday. Owner Dianna Carlin put a positive spin on the experience, though: "Crime is going up—shoplifting is getting bad here," she told the Post. "But that's because there's more people on Coney Island due to the new amusements." Through Monday, she's trying to sell out the rest of the store with a "Big Break-in Bonanza" sale. [NYP]
