When You Get to Proenza, Head Straight for the Samples

The Proenza Schouler sale started at 9am today, but we've got the early word from a tipster who stopped by yesterday's preview. "At first I thought prices were pretty high," she writes. "Basic tees were around $100 and most dresses above $500 up to $1000. But then I made it to the sample rack." Prizes there include $40 black silk pants (down from 340 Euros), $100 Hervé-esque bondage dresses (pictured above), and a $120 raw silk cross-back dress in white. She also reports signs of $20 work pants, but we're guessing those won't last long. If you're going, keep in mind that they require shoppers to check all bags.
