Earlier today, NYC the Blog reported that the windows of Christian Audigier's Nolita store were papered over. So is the father of Ed Hardy leaving Lafayette? One phone call to the store later, here's the ambivalent conclusion: The woman on the phone said there's another store location opening, and that the Nolita store was temporarily shut recently because they're "updating" it. At first more confident that the store would reopen, she proceeded to say that the store "may or may not reopen" and they "don't have details yet." File this one under developing.—Alice Taranto
