Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

After the Halston preview yesterday, we headed north over to the Jodi Arnold sale, which opens to the public this morning and offers up to 80% off womenswear. After experiencing absolute euphoric joy from a purchase of $50 leather pants from February's sale, we were excited to see what was in store this time around.

Items on offer from the label formerly known as MINT by Jodi Arnold (now Jodi Arnold, just Jodi Arnold) start at $35 for slouchy tees and topping out at $130 for dresses.

The pricing is a bit different from the last sale with two tiers of pricing for tops and sweaters. The "blue dot" tops and sweaters are $65, with the "red dot" $75 and the "blue dot" dresses are $99 with the "red dot" at $130 each. On the "blue dot" racks, we saw silky earthy-toned day dresses, different shades of gray wide-striped silk tunic dresses, jersey wrap-front and belted frocks, and soft sleeveless Henley rompers in wheat and lavender-grey. The "red dot" dresses were more eye-catching, with lots of one-shoulder tiered ruffle mini cocktail frocks in cream and black, abstract water color dresses with nipped in waists, and floral mini-dresses with zip front bodices.

Additional highlights on the racks included the $60 skirts (origami-like ones with differing stripes in either black and white or fuschia and black, black-and-white gingham above-the-knee numbers with front ruffle, and more). A tiered ruffle mini-confection in either cream or black is $75. There are also lots of tops, from silk sleeveless to navy striped racer back to delicate laser cut vests for $65 or $75 (depending on the dot color).

Definitely check out the samples, which we predict will go fast. Priced at a fabulously ridiculous $20 each, the samples include beaded silk tunics, silk slouchy tops and even a canary yellow one-shoulder cocktail frock. And that was just the sneak peek from last night—staffers promised more to come.

Staffers also confirmed that they will replenish some stock throughout the sale. Cash and credit are accepted and there is a closed off communal fitting area available. Staffers are friendly and helpful as always.

Just a few items of note: If you purchase $500 or more, you'll receive a $100 voucher to redeem at either the University Place shop or the soon-to-open Atlantic Avenue outpost. Also, if you "refer a friend" (they'll do this old school on paper with a code here, but this is a test run for a future loyalty card perk the boutiques will offer), your friend will receive 10% off at the sale and if they spend over $100, you'll get $25 in store credit. And lastly, students will receive 10% off today and Wednesday at the sale.
