Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Rag & Bone is so close to opening on Houston Street that we can practically smell the high-class Americana. Bowery Boogie snooped around yesterday and found "snazzy new namesake leafing" on all the windows. More exciting than that is the news that the place now has shelving, and even more exciting (though it's hard to think of anything more thrilling than shelving) is the Rag & Bone shoe shop, which will occupy the place where Café Colonial's kitchen used to be. We're getting a preview tonight, so stay tuned for tomorrow's big reveal.
