Holy Alber! Lanvin to Open on the UES Sometime Next Week

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Lanvin has finally set a date for the launch of its Upper East Side store. The label has been guarded about revealing any information on its first New York boutique, and last time we checked, the Madison Avenue site seemed stagnant. But Page Six reports that we'll be able to shop (or at least window-shop) by next week. More details: "The 6,000-square-foot, five-floor emporium will have 30-foot ceilings, a bridal floor, antique chandeliers and "acres" of mirrors. The space was constructed by Michilli Inc., which has outfitted shops for Vera Wang, Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli."
