Elderly Man with Oxygen Tank Robs Midtown Store

Apparently, playing Mahjong and sharing photos of grandchildren just isn't as invigorating as it used to be.

Last Friday night, an elderly man in his 70s held up Midtown clothing store Sarar. With a cane and oxygen tank in tow, he shot rounds at a customer, a store employee, and from what it sounds like, whoever else he could see at the upscale shop's 46th and Madison location.

No one was hurt, but he did get a clear shot at one thing before hobbling to his getaway car—a line of eight of Sarar's well-tailored Turkish suits, landing the bullet in the pocket of the ninth.—Carlye Wisel
