It's a good week for hand-drawn temporary-closing signage. Bowery Boogie alerts us to the news that Economy Candy, which they boldly call "the finest candy store in all of Manhattan," has shut its doors for a few days to install new flooring. To inform the neighborhood, the store has posted a sign with dates and a tiny poem that reads, in its entirety: "Don't be sore/Replacing the floor."
