Alejandro Ingelmo's Sexy Shoes Slated for Soho

Designer Alejandro Ingelmo plans to open his first store in a brownstone at the southwestern corner of Soho in late August. The 800-square-foot space will be stocked with Ingelmo's sexy-tough women's collection, which starts at $400 and goes up to $1400. It will also carry a new, exclusive line of women's sneakers, launched just in time to celebrate the shop's debut. Ingelmo is known for his metallic sneakers for men, but he doesn't plan to add the men's collection until the shop has been established for a little while.
