Area Kids Moves Into Manhattan; TJ Maxx Slowly Continues Work on Their Three-Story Midtown Flagship

UPPER WEST SIDE— Brooklyn children's store mini-chain Area Kids has officially expanded into Manhattan, opening their 8th location at 451 Amsterdam Avenue and 81st Street. But it doesn't stop there, as Area Kids will continue to add a 9th location, the second in Manhattan, at 55 West 14th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues in three weeks. [Racked Inbox]

MIDTOWN WEST— The city's newest TJ Maxx continues to tack up signage on their facade at 57th Street and 8th Avenue. The three-story giant still has a long way to go however, as it's not due to open its doors until just before the holiday season. [Guerilla Shopper; Previously]
