When J. Crew opened their first Bridal Boutique on Madison Avenue at the end of last month, they did so with perfect timing. June being the most popular month for weddings and all, but also because now are the warm months when window shoppers don't too much mind windows full of white dresses and chiffon.
Alas, J. Crew doesn't play it too safe with their bridal designs, and chiffon is relegated to the racks. Instead, denim paired with a columnar satin skirt rules the window and a peach sequined dress that looks poured onto the mannequin seems a formidable opponent to the sparkliest wedding gown.
Oh and of course the J. Crew Bridal Boutique is a one-stop-shop, complete with opulently heaped jewelry to delight even the most staunchly "something old, something new" bride.
