On this rainy Wednesday afternoon, we trekked to Midtown for Charlotte Ronson's annual summer clear-out of her signature casual dresses, skirts, and tees. There, we found merchandise tagged lower than her less-expensive line exclusively sold at JCPenney. I Heart Ronson is usually around $15 for T-shirts, an average of $30 for blouses and sweaters, and $40 to $65 for jeans, dresses and such. And with JCPenney-typical discounts, it ranges $9.99 to $29.99. At the sample sale, everything we wanted to buy was $15 to $30, and not a single piece was priced over $90. Standouts included one-shoulder dresses with beautiful beading and a range of wedge heels (see the gallery for more looks and prices.) One warning: The sale is already down to the smaller sizes—this means there is a whole lot left for lucky girls size 4 and down.—Joann Pan
