HERALD SQUARE—Remember those Pierre Hardy for Gap platform boots that briefly won our collective hearts last winter? The Fashion Herald blogger just bought them for $9.97. [Fashion Herald]
EVERYWHERE—Cashmere power duo Tina Lutz and Marcia Patmos are splitting up, which means the end to their label Lutz & Patmos. The pair, who met as designers for Barneys, released a statement to WWD yesterday explaining that they're going their separate ways. Patmos will kick off her own line, M. Patmos, while continuing to run Lutz & Patmos offshoot Leroy & Perry. Lutz will be consulting with other labels, something she's already done for A.P.C. and Calvin Klein. And their remaining inventory? That, friend, will be snapped up by you, assuming you take advantage of the 50% off closing sale currently taking place on the Lutz & Patmos website. [The Thread]
