Heavily Discounted Luxe Lace Still Available At La Perla Sale

Incredibly, we had no trouble marching right in fourth floor of 4 W.58th Street today, where the magical La Perla sale was taking place without huge lines or crowds. The sale opened up on Sunday morning to a long line of people waiting to get their hands on heavily marked-down bodysuits, bras, underwear, and robes. We're happy to report a great range of merchandise and sizes a whole day and a half later.

While we were rummaging through the swimwear—a full four boxes worth—a woman complained about the lack of two pieces, which is what we were looking for. The swimwear is mostly size 8 and up. Expect lots of orange, green, and patterned slinky one-pieces. On the other corner near the windows overlooking Central Park, we were surprised to see boxes upon boxes of underwear left in small, medium, large and x-large. La Perla panties and thongs were $50 each and a deal at two for $40. Underwear from La Perla's lightweight brand Malizia was $30 each. New Occhi Verdi pieces were a delicate $10 apiece. There were also racks of babydolls that ranged from $110 and up, all in plenty of sizes. In addition to all the little panties and bras, there are fleece robes on sale for $50 as well as silk robes that go up to $130.
