Even if some aren't the hugest fans of J. Lo's recent musical paen to high-end designer footwear, there is no disputing that Jennifer Lopez is prolific in her pursuits. Her latest move is expanding her fragrance empire with the launch of a new scent, Love and Glamour, debuting at Macy's in November. Lopez is personally involved in working with Coty to create the signature fragrance blend, telling WWD that “I drive [Coty] a little bit crazy, because it’s always not signature enough. I go back and say things like, ‘Can we push the sandalwood a little bit more, can we make a tiny bit more sexy?’" Lopez seems to know what she's talking about, her sixteen fragrances have generated over $1 billion in sales since the first launched in 2002. (So perhaps, we have her perfumes to blame for funding the production of the aforementioned "Louboutins").
Love and Glamour will retail between $27.50 for the body lotion and $58 for a 2.5 oz. eau de parfum. The fragrance is a mixture of scents including italian mandarin, coconut orchid, sandalwood and of course, sensual musk. Which leads us to the rumor about Saturday's impending vow renewal ceremony with Marc Anthony. J. Lo denies the rumor to WWD, but says, "Maybe at the seven-year itch moment, we’ll do that. Or at the 10 year. A better number.” She does hint that a new album may be completed this year though, so stay tuned (no pun intended).
