Heads up, neo-preps: Powerhouse Books is about to re-release classic menswear style manual Take Ivy, and they're throwing in an English translation. Take Ivy, as you may know, is a collection of photos of well-dressed young Ivy League men shot by a Japanese photographer and published in 1965. It caused a sensation in Tokyo when it came out, and it's been rediscovered and championed recently (most notably by menswear blog A Continuous Lean) as a source of perfect all-American style. Writes an obsessed friend of Racked, "2006 editions had been going for over a freaking grand on eBay. I got my preorder in." [Powerhouse]
