Jean Paul Gaultier's space-aged stiletto for Brazilian plastic shoe brand Melissa has finally shipped, and we were lucky enough to try them on at Smith Street shop Epaulet. Early verdict: They're surprisingly comfortable and superlatively sexy. The heel looks slender but feels strong, and the rubber straps have more give than you might expect. Get them in peach and black for $250 at Epaulet or in olive for $275 at Alter in Greenpoint.
