MIDTOWN—All 32 Sidewalk Catwalk mannequins are up and running (or, well, standing still) on Broadway. Three interesting details: 1) The organizers have arranged to keep 24/7 security on hand (so don't even think about trying to make off with Donna Karan's photo-print cocktail dress). 2) The designers sourced all of their materials from Material ConneXion's library of weather-proof fabrics (meaning even if you did steal that dress, it might not be wearable.) And 3) Yeohlee Teng, who recently won our hearts with her kooky genius at a Made in Midtown panel, dressed her mannequin in a daringly low-cut brick wall (via Mizhattan at right). We told you she was delightful! For more photos, head to the Cut's slideshow or Mizhattan's rundown. [The Cut; Mizhattan; Previously]
MIDTOWN—Twitterer Johnny Strategy alerts us to the first signs of Uniqlo on Fifth Avenue. Fast Retailing, the brand's parent company, has officially put its name on the 666 Fifth space. [Twitter; Previously]
