Rag & Bone's hotly anticipated sample sale usually takes place in their Meatpacking District showroom, but this time it's being held in Chelsea Market. Fans who trek to 75 Ninth Avenue will find a giant space full of quality pieces, including knits and tailored goods. Through Sunday, June 27, get T-shirts for $45, jeans for $95, and dresses for $175.
When we stopped by last night, we found a mass of Rag & Bone devotees who'd caught wind of the news that the sale was open a day early. They were raiding the $50 rack—by the time we left, there was only two more items on the special stand—and stocking up on denim while sizes were still copious. But that doesn't mean all the good stuff is gone. The sale has a bounty of colorful leather jackets, denim jumpsuits, white shorts, and summer denim. Pants were going for $115—pretty heavily discounted from Rag & Bone's usual retail prices. We thought the $115 for some shirts was a little steep, but there was a huge variety of cute tops we could wear to work or play stacked on tabletops.
Shoes were tagged from $85 to $195 and the selection was abundant—we even saw some of the coveted Dodger boots in black. Shoes were tagged from. And the menswear section was as massive as women's, with lots of seasonal pieces (although a limited range of outerwear.) For pricing and photos entirely for the boys, check out the Choosy Beggar's coverage.—Joann Pan
