Leading up to two of the summer's most highly anticipated events—tomorrow's launch of the iPhone 4 and the impending return of MTV's the Jersey Shore—this news comes at the perfect time. In the annual Summer issue of New York Magazine, Mike "the Situation" Sorrentino tells readers that he is working on a pretty genius location-based iPhone app: the GTL locator. The Sitch breaks it all down for us, "Wherever you are in the U.S., you can locate your nearest gym, tanning, and laundry.” With this entrepreneurial endeavor, plus the proper usage of the word "variable" in a quote, we're wondering if the Situation is hiding some sort of secret computer statistics masters diploma in his closet full of Ed Hardy.
