How long until this ring makes a cameo in a Lady Gaga or Santigold video?

While innocently browsing the nOir jewelry site, we ran across this Brooklyn Bridge-turned-brass knuckles creation that made our head spin. We've not as yet seen it on a Gilt Groupe sale of nOir, and $250 for one of these babies means you'll only find it on the hands of the hardcore urban accessory addicts.

And although the idea of a sparkly crystal bridge roadway is nice, we can't stop thinking about how much damage this ring would do, should the wearer punch someone in the face. So what do you think?is this awesome or awful?
