The Council of Fashion Designers of America just announced 25 new members and the highlights of the list reads like a New York-centric dream designer wardrobe. The fresh inductees include Steven Alan, Rebecca Minkoff, Sophie Theallet and Ulrich Grimm, the Design Director of Shoes & Accessories for Calvin Klein. Maybe they can start their own New York club within the organization (CFDNY?) and kick off their first meeting at the October celebratory blow-out to be thrown by Vera Wang. [The Thread]
