Tonight at 6pm, 10,000 people will welcome summer with a ginormous yoga class on Central Park's Great Lawn. The Flavorpill-sponsored event is closed, sadly, but you can get a sense of the scale of the project (and the challenge of organizing all those yogis) via Social Workout's liveblog from last night's set-up. Choice excerpt: "Flavorpill volunteers are handing out the Y@GL yoga teacher official uniform: Gray cotton capris and a cerulean blue t-shirt. Many are quite satisfied, but others appear concerned. Can they cut off those sleeves, one volunteer asks. Umm, no says the team leader. Hell hath no fury like New York yoga teachers who can't alter their capris." [Social Workout]
