Accessories designer Nancy Gonzalez, known for supplying ladies with luxe croc and python bags, is now branching out with a men's accessories collection to launch for the holidays. The all-croc line will start at $125 for a money clip and, for those with deeper pockets, $6,450 for a travel bag. To be sold exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus, the line will be branded Santiago Gonzalez, named for Nancy's son and company exec in charge of the new line. Santiago Gonzalez is wisely keeping his target market in mind with the new brand name as “No guy wants to carry a bag called Nancy.” Very insightful, Mr. Gonzalez. [WWD, subscription req'd]
