Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Williamsburg gadget store Dijital Fix opens its Lower East Side location tonight with a big party, and you're totally invited. The new space shares a Clinton Street duplex with new bar and restaurant Culture Fix. Upstairs, you'll find Dijital Fix's collection of speakers, headphones, cameras, and toys for grown-ups; downstairs, you'll find beer, wine, and tapas-style snacks. Connecting them is a giant gallery space with 18-foot ceilings where the Fix team plans to host exhibits, screenings, and live arts events. The entire space was built using fallen timber (scrap wood, essentially), so it's eco-friendly as well as dramatic.

The whole project launches at 7pm tonight with an opening party for the gallery's first exhibit. Called "Solstice: The Rebirth of Summer," it's made up of more than 5,000 photos taken on the iPhone app Hipstamatic, which creates a toy-camera effect. Culture Fix isn't open yet—it's waiting on a beer and wine license—but since it's a party, you can expect free food and drink (plus product giveaways from Dijital Fix!) And while we can't promise anything, we suspect Store Sidekicks alum Nino might make an appearance.
