Adding to yesterday's iPhone 4 pre-order system shutdown debacle, word of an AT&T account security breach has just exacerbated the issue. Instances of accidental log-ins to other customer accounts have been reported. To address the issue, AT&T reps responded with this formal-in-wording, yet childlike-in-reasoning statement "We have been unable to replicate the issue, but the information displayed did not include call-detail records, social security numbers, or credit card information. In the meantime, we are looking into this matter." Oh well, that makes us feel much better. [Gizmodo, previously]
