Gawker is still going full Woodward-and-Bernstein on American Apparel. Today's revelation: Pretty much all obvious makeup has been outlawed for employees. Founder Dov Charney has long railed against over-plucked eyebrows, but now he's apparently taking the fresh-faced thing a step further by banning eyeliner and shiny lip gloss as well. Also, and perhaps most shockingly, bangs are out. Explains a company memo: "It is not part of the direction we're moving in." Sorry, entire population of Williamsburg: You're just going to have to find a job elsewhere. [Gawker]
