The Macy's Herald Square flagship beauty section will undergo a slight touch-up come October with the addition of the Impulse Beauty concept. Macy's introduced the "open sell" Impulse Beauty concepts in California last year and will slowly roll out to make it here by the fall. "Open sell" is basically the Sephora-ization concept of perusing less traditional brands on your own and having assistance available if needed. A Macy's exec namechecks Laura Geller and Sue Devitt as participating beauty brands. This little tuck should go nicely with the full on renovations to take place in future.
