HERALD SQUARE—The USA Network is really into shirt giveaways these days—not that we're complaining. Hot on the heels of their epic Thomas Pink handout to promote White Collar comes a new stunt tied to the new season of Royal Pains. This time around, the deal is more of a two-way street: You bring them a summer shirt you no longer want (but that can still be worn), and they'll give you a $50 Lacoste gift card. The donated shirts go to HELP USA, which provides housing and other necessities to Americans in need, plus for every shirt collected USA will give $10 to Doctors Without Borders. Other perks: Royal Pains cast members will be roaming around, and the USA folks will be tricking out the space with lounge chairs, refreshments, and "a summer gaming area." It all goes down in Greeley Square (32nd Street and Sixth Avenue) from 8am to 6pm this Thursday, June 3. [Racked Inbox]
SOHO—In addition to offering 40 to 60% off clothing for men and women, the Parlor Showroom sale this weekend involves all sorts of fun gimmicks. Thursday from 3pm to 8pm, if you stop by with a bag of old jewelry, Susan from DLCwill make you a new piece. Friday from 5pm to 8pm, DJ T&A (aka Timo Weiland) will DJ and the ladies from Alex & Eli will serve margaritas. And all day Saturday, Samantha Pleet will be baking delicious desserts to the tunes of a surprise DJ. [Racked Inbox; Dealfeed]
