The Gilded Age sample sale kicks off this morning and the Choosy Beggar has a favorable sneak peak report on the menswear offerings to expect today. Pants and jeans run from $60 to $120, jackets run $80 to $120, shirts $40 to $50, t-shirts and polos $10 to $50 and shorts are $40. The Choosy Beggar observes that "these superbly-made jeans, jackets, chambray & woven shirts, cotton pants & shorts, etc. won’t last forever? at least in your size. Jeans/pants are available in sizes 29-36, bust mostly 32." The shirts and jackets, however, are abundant in medium and large. The best news from the sale: there are opportunities to negotiate, as the powers that be are very willing to move the goods. [The Choosy Beggar, previously]
