The Thakoon Sale Is Empty of People But Full Of Delicious Deals

You have two hours left to shop the Thakoon sample sale currently taking place on the tenth floor of 270 Lafayette Street in Nolita, and if you're contemplating running over there, you probably should. Things to note: There are no signs outside or inside the building indicating that there's a sale upstairs. When we arrived, we found no more than five people in the room, making us feel like we'd just crashed the party. Racks lining the border of the room held beautiful Thakoon printed tops, skirts, paneled leggings, dresses and jackets. From a quick glance, many of the pieces were $150 or $200, although the more elaborate were a couple hundred more. There were also long gowns for over $800 and shoes for around $200 to $300. Overall though, the merchandise was a total win, and there were plenty of styles still in stock. —Lauren Frankfort
