Back in March, word on the street had it that Michael Kors was taking over the former home of Emanual Ungaro at 67th Street and Madison Avenue. Now, the Shophound reports that Kors has plastered his logo all over the corner space, which has been vacant ever since Ungaro hightailed it to the Plaza Retail Collection.
But what flavor of Kors can we expect from the new store? Keep in mind that the designer already has two Madison Avenue shops, one at 77th and one at 60th. The pictures in the windows seem to shoot down the Shophound's fantasy of an all-menswear shop. In fact, they're from his Collection ad campaign—but the 77th street store is the current home of Collection. Mysterious!
