Would you believe the crazy '80s interior you're looking at right now is the inside of a West Village book store? It's the retail wing of publishing house OHWOW, run by street style impresario Aaron Bondaroff. The shop, which opened this weekend at 227 Waverly Place, is designed by Rafael de Cardenas, whose firm also masterminded Charlotte Ronson's Nolita store and model Jessica Stam's apartments in both Manhattan and East Hampton. And it's going to serve as both boutique and reading room for OHWOW, which specializes in hyper-downtown art offerings like Clayton Patterson's Front Door Book and Yoko Ono's posters for Three AsFour's spring 2010 collection.
