Details are trickling in from J.Crew's monthly midtown pop-up, aka the Clothingline sample sale. Every time Clothingline holds one of these sales, we hear the same complaints: There's nothing good to buy, and there are too many people trying to buy it. "Sale has HUGE LINE TO PAY! Goes all the way to the back of the store. Not worth it..." reports one tipster. But another dissents: "I thought it was great. I bought a pair of pants and shorts for $20 each and sandals for $65, that were in the stores for $145. I was there at 2:15 and there was a two minute line to pay. Me happy!!!!!!" [Racked Comments]
