This morning, we reported that grunge standby/perennial leg-shortener Dr. Martens was opening at an as-yet-undisclosed location in Soho. Now, Crain's digs up more specific details. The good Doctor is in negotiations for a space at 148 Spring Street between Wooster and West Broadway. According to the folks at newish hair salon The Drawing Room, which occupies 148 Spring's second level, the building has no ground floor retail space. There is a vacancy directly above them, though, leading us to speculate that Dr. Martens might open in that third-floor spot. [Previously; Crain's]
