Glendale's Shops at Atlas Park mall has fall on hard times, and yet everyone wants a piece of it. The mall was foreclosed upon last year, and it's going up for sale sometime this summer—possibly this June. Parties interested in the auction include the Hemmerdingers, who founded the mall and lost it after defaulting on a loan; a group of Israeli investors; and CUNY, which City Councilwoman Elizabeth Crowley says might want to use the mall for classes.
