Ever since news emerged that Michael Kors would be taking over Ungaro's old home at 67th and Madison, shopping bloggers have been trying to figure out what the designer would do with the space. After all, he already had two Madison boutiques—does he really need a third? Today, WWD clears up the confusion. Kors plans to close his flagship at 76th and Madison and reopen it in the bigger, more centrally-located 67th Street spot. When the store opens next spring, it will house the full Michael Kors collection in a setting made homey (although presumably still high-end) with vintage furniture and fixtures created by Kors's in-store design team.
