Looks like the West Village Marc Jacobs isn't the only outpost with some "line-up" action. The story begins in Soho at the Mercer Street Marc Jacobs when an employee received a mysterious package hailing from California. After discovering a white powdery substance inside the package, the employee panicked and called in the FBI thinking the powder to be anthrax. (Because that would be our first thought after coming across a white powdery substance delivered from California.) Turns out, the white stuff wasn't anthrax, it was just your garden variety cocaine. The FBI then turned jurisdiction over to the NYPD (just like on TV!) who then took the employee in for questioning. After an interrogation, the employee was sent home, free of any charges and cops are now investigating residents of the building. Talk about a bad day at work.
