Now you see it, now you don't. Matthew Williamson's pop-up shop for a single kaftan he designed with Belvedere Vodka has opened on West 14th Street, across from his own boutique. The store, which sells only the $1,540 kaftan modeled by Leigh Lezark here, was produced to pay homage to Belvedere's newest "maceration" vodka flavor: pink grapefruit.
After a private, celeb-studded party DJed by Lezark a couple nights ago, the space kind of opened its doors to the public. The exact status of the space is unknown, but they're calling it an event space with a few Lezark appearances. Weird.
Have you been inside the pop-up Belvedere shop? What do you think of the kaftan? More Hamptons or too Miami?
