Some say that imitation is the best form of flattery, but we're not so sure about that. Case in point: Banana Republic recently released the $79.50 "Lorenz" necklace, which looks eerily familiar. Those rocker style twisted mix metal chains just scream Fenton/Fallon (but with lower quality). One might think it's just a coincidence, except for the totally obvious shout out—the necklace is named "Lorenz", like Fenton/Fallon designer, Dana Lorenz. Maybe this was some sort of inside joke they thought we wouldn't catch, but if you're going to be a biter, Banana, at least try and exercise a modicum of subtlety. [Fashionista]
