Remember the brilliant Spring/Summer 2009 collection of British designer Christopher Kane, which had celebs and it-girls strutting about in dresses printed with a teeth-baring gorilla head? Those dresses costs thousand of dollars, which he later knocked down to more affordable levels with a similar alligator-print shift for Topshop.
Well, the theme of freaky wildlife is back and cheaper than ever thanks to Norma Kamali for Wal-Mart's summer collection, which includes an $8 eagle tank top that scarily mimics the style of the Kane pieces. It's available in either grey or white, and even with standard shipping included, the total is only $8.97.
Now don't go driving over to the Wal-Mart in Secaucus, New Jersey hoping to feast your eyes on the Kamali collection in person, because you won't find it. We've checked. In fact, most of the Norma for Wal-Mart items can only be only found online, and they don't last long even there.
