Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

SOHO—The Paul Smith boutique on Greene Street has turned the tables on voyeuristic shoppers, covering its windows with blinds and letting just one headless mannequin peek out. It's a little bit creepy and a little bit awesome, although as the Storetorialist points out, shop windows hidden by wonky Venetian blinds are nothing new in Manhattan. [The Storetorialist]

NOLITA—Mulberry Street is about to get a World Cup–themed pop-up, reports Bowery Boogie. Play Beautiful launches June 6 and provides (per its Facebook page) "real-time match viewing, live demonstrations by local and international performers, film screenings, private events and an unparalleled retail experience." And they're hiring. [Bowery Boogie; Facebook]
