It's official: the modern furniture extravaganza that is The Conran Shop has fully emptied out their airy, vitrine-like space on East 59th Street in the shadow of the Queensboro Bridge for 8500 square feet in the lower level at ABC Carpet & Home. The shutter signage (see it after the jump) isn't so teary?after all they'll have a soft re-opening around April 19 at ABC?but they do remind "loyal customers" that it's their tenth anniversary of being in New York.
If you'd rather wait to meet and greet with Terence Conran himself, the grand opening of the ABC Conran shop comes on May 14, just in time to finish your spring cleaning with a few $2,000 Wassily chairs.
