Since we've apparently time-warped straight into July, let's talk about what to wear to the beach. This week, Opening Ceremony starts selling swimwear and body suits by We Are Handsome, an Australian design team with a healthy appreciation for kitsch. The suits are one piece and relatively modest, but they're printed with eye-catching, retro motifs like a snarling feline (is that a lynx?) or a pack of wild horses.
Suits go for $70 to $120, which is pretty reasonable once you learn that each piece is made by hand. Suits are $70 to $120 wholesale, which works out to upwards of $200 retail.
