It's a big week for news about Sur La Table, the boho-domestic kitchen store with an outpost in Soho. Yesterday, we reported that an SUV had crashed into the storefront. Today, the Post informs us that the chain, which is based in Seattle, will open up another New York City location. The new store is set to take over a 5,200-square-foot location at 1320 Third Avenue, near 77th Street. It will replace two stores that used to occupy the space: Ann Taylor and Precision. Let's just hope uptown drivers are better at keeping their vehicles under control.
