Saying bye bye to barn jackets and oversize flannels, J. Crew held its first "out of house" Fall 2010 presentation last Thursday at Milk Studios. Mixing the trendy military with sequins, Creative Director Jenna Lyons described the womenswear line as “Edie Beale goes to Girl Scout camp”. J. Crew also showed pieces from the already available collaboration with Freeman's Alley rock 'n roll jewelry line Fenton/Fallon. The jewelry line stays true to Fenton/Fallon's spiky twisted heavy chains and vintage inspirations, which definitely a departure from the Martha's Vineyard looks of yore. [WWD, subscription req'd]
