Our old friend Kira Plastinina hasn't been totally foiled by the recession. While the teenage Russian designer closed all of her NYC boutiques, she's been on an expansion kick in Asia and Eastern Europe. "She has more than 80 stores in Russia, as well as in the Ukraine and Kazakhstan," reports WWD. And she's just opened her second location in the Philippines. Kira still has two remaining US outposts, both in L.A. and both rebranded rather hilariously as "K. Plastinina." With a disguise like that, nobody will ever know! [WWD; Previously]
