Jewelry designer David Yurman unveils its impressive new Madison Avenue flagship today. The new store boasts 2000 square feet of retail space spanning three floors, as compared to just 800 square feet in its old space up the block. The updated flagship will offer shoppers and fans a more diverse selection of lines within the David Yurman brand, with items ranging from $250 for more casual pieces to a whopping $18,000 to $1 million plus for one-of-a-kind pieces from the Couture collection.
The flagship opens in a converted five-story townhouse with three-stories of retail space. The first floor features all women's jewelry with a mix of lines, including Silver Ice and the new and modern Midnight Mélange collection. The second floor is home to men's jewelry and timepieces and appropriately enough, a bar and flat screen TV. The third floor is devoted to "newness" with the bridal collection and the aforementioned big-ticket (and revamped) Couture line, which is the baby of David Yurman's 28-year old son and Design Director, Evan. David Yurman is truly a family business as President and Chief Marketing Officer is Sybil Yurman, David's wife and Evan's mother.
