MIDTOWN WEST—Sample Sally reports back from the Frette sale: "Bed sets, duvet covers, light quilts, and bed covers are up to 80 percent off. Tablecloths and robes are up to 60 percent off. Bed sets were $99 for the Guest Frette and $450 for the label's Essentials and Collection line. Many of the sheet sets were from the line's 'European fashion,' which means 2 flat sheets, plus 2 pillowcases. One customer was considering a set with flat sheets. She wanted a fitted sheet so the sales associate suggested she have her tailor sew a garter around the edges. In the end, this seemed to be too much work for the shopper so she ended up walking away." [Sample Sally; Dealfeed]
